I don't think I need that much high-quality sound for my protable music carrier. i mean, the bus noises all over it. and those little headphones are not sufficient to produce high quality soundwaves anyway.
once mp3 player become bigger and bigger, md won't be able to hold up. computerstuff is getting -50% in price very 18 months, that's not happening to other electronics. updating MD will raise cost for purchase, while updating mp3 will also, but to much lesser extend.
next year this time, probably the 3g mp3 player will be available for the price of a 128mb stick now, and this trend will continue. technology for highQ highStorage md is very expensive, but an mp3 stick just has to extend it's memory bank.
