Anyone familiar with any experimental music bands? such as Explosions in the Sky, Mono, Mum, Godspeed you black emperor, etc?
Never heard of 'em.

Seriously though, I lovez0rz experimental music. Stuff like, indeed, Mono, GYBE!, Explosions In The Sky, Air and all that, but also more avant-garde things like Merzbow, Ground Zero, Xinlisupreme, Nikudorei, Kiyoshi Mizutani, etcetera. Experimental music r0xz0rz.

By the way, have you heard My Bloody Valentine? They're awesome. 'Sometimes' by them is on the Lost In Translation soundtrack, and it's easily their best track ever, but their other stuff is awesome as well.
