I think people were just too excited and they expected so much out of 'STEP you' that now, they are dissapointed.
I never thought it sounded rock so i'm fine with it. I'm kinda glad it's not a rock song, actually. I mean, 'is this LOVE?' is an rock song. I would have prefered a ballad though... I really thought 'is this LOVE?' was a ballad at first, but i'm still loving the song.
