avex would never dump Ayu. Look at Namie, after the lowest point in her career (her album "break the rules") she was basically transferred to SUITE CHIC to renew her career. As long as Ayu makes money, they will keep her.
Ayu just doesn't have the capital to start her own recording company, I think. Yes she's rich, and she probably has good credit to get a loan from the bank, but she's a high-end artist that needs high-end equipment for music and pictures. If she was to start her own recording company, her concerts would have to downsize a bit so she won't go broke
