She's a young American-Japanese singer from the group Bishoujo Club 21. She's born in America indeed and she is the spokesperson for KOSE VISÉE (she replaced Ayu). She likes R&B and soul music, that's why you'll see a lot of those influences in her music. She debuted her solo career in 2004, with the single "Harmony". Her best selling single is "Here alone" selling about 25 000 (it was the opening of a drama). Her 1st album, "Beni" (which sold around 25 000 copies overall), was filled with soul and gospel tracks along with her pop-R&B single tracks. She released 5 singles and one album since she debuted. Her last single, released in June "Hikari no kazu dake GLAMOUROUS", was a dance R&B track not that much popular like her previous singles. She has a smooth voice but nothing spectacular actually... She's not very popular both in Japan and with worldwide J-Pop fans. IMO she's too.. ordinary to be an idol. I'm not a fan of hers.. but I really like Here Alone and her 4th single Miracle ^^
