1. it is a compilation
2. it's being released shortly after her latest album
3. there haven't been any new singles in between these two releases (RAINBOW & A BALLADS)
4. sure some of the songs on the compilation are new versions but some are just the same songs that were on RAINBOW!!!
5. she's been #1 in the daily chart all week long so I wouldn't worry, we really need to see sales figures for the rest of the week to figure out how much she really sold, I remember Miki Fujimoto hitting #1 in the beginning of the week of the release of "MIKI #1" but she didn't make it to #1 at the end of the week - just like Miyuki Nakajima had a #1 in the weekly chart with the re-release(?) of her double A-side "Chijyou no hoshi/Headlight, taillight" but never was #1 in the daily chart (maybe in the end of the week)
