Don't you think it's possible that Ayu could just be running on her own steam for this? I don't want to believe that Ayu is taking drugs. If she were to take even half of what you said, she probably would have suffered some sort of heart attack or defect or serious weight loss (she only weighs 100 lbs, after all. I seriously doubt her small frame could take so much of that crap for so long). And she also probably would have gone through some serious state of depression, which her songs would have reflected.

As for the marijuana clothing, someone stated that that is just a fashion icon in Japan, as it is in the US. It doesn't mean that Ayu smokes it. Ayu is a trend setter - she follows the fashion code rule, so naturally she would incorporate styles that are currently popular.

As for her releases, granted they are amazing. But as Ayu has stated herself, she's "a product" and a very popular one. Avex has and will continue to milk her for everything she's worth, until she's completely lost her popularity. It makes me wonder how she does it, too, but I've never considered drugs. I just can't imagine it. Illegal drugs eat up a person, inside and out. There's no way Ayu could look as beautiful and calm at her concerts if she was constantly getting high. I won't believe it until I see some proof, so I don't consider it.

It's an interesting topic to broach, however, I feel that your portrayal of how she gets through the day is really harsh.
