Welcome to the AHS Top 100 Albums Of All Time 2005 thread! Since most (if not all) of us are avid fans of various sorts of music, I think it'd be interesting to see what the initiates of AHS consider to be the best albums of all time. As such, everyone can make a list containing their favourite albums of all time and post it here. By attributing points to the albums listed we can then generate a Top 100 Albums Of All Time! Of course, there'll be a few rules for this.
- You can submit a list of 10, 25, 50, or 100 albums.
- A list of 10 albums may contain 1 album per artist, a list of 25 albums 2 per artist, a list of 50 albums 3 per artist, and finally a list of 100 albums may contain up to 4 albums of one artist.
- You
may list: albums, compilations, best-ofs, live albums, soundtracks, and EPs
- You
may not list: singles, bootlegs
- Any genre, any country will be accepted; this Top 100 is not limited to Asian and/or JPop albums
- Albums of 2005 may not be listed, only list albums of 2004 and earlier (this because 2005 releases are still fresh in memory and may need to time to sink in still)
- Only one list per person
- Make sure you put numbers in front of the albums you list, otherwise it'll be way too much work to add everything up in the end
Lists that do not follow these rules can sadly not be accepted.
Point counting will go as such:
10 albums listed
25 albums listed
50 albums listed
100 albums listed
The deadline for submitting your list is
November 12th, which gives you four weeks exact to compile your list (if anyone needs some more time I will change the date).
