no... the main point of this PV is coming to terms with your past... so in the end Ayu is smiling because she has finally accepted her past... In the beginning she is almost haunted by it... and then she learns to confront it, and it doesn't end up being so bad... and the ayu fades away because it symbolises that Ayu has completely come to terms with herself... and isn't haunted anymore
ron234 - no one is wrong here. Ayu's PV's can be interpreted into many ways... I'm sure Ayu does this on purpose... in this PV you can plug whatever part of you that you haven't accepted... who's to say someone doesn't truly accept their homosexuality... they can plug and viola! makes sense
PS - I'm not saying ayu is coming to terms with her homosexuality! we ALL know it's her past self she's dealing with... just thought I'd make that completely clear befroe someone bends my words
