... Holy crap. So yeah, it's still Ayu's worst song, and definitely one of the worst music videos ever made. But I can at least feel the fun in it now. The "yayayaya gagagaga dadadada wowowowo" is cute. I guess she's just said everything she needed to say, and now she just wants to have fun with her music. A Song for XX -> Memorial Address were full of passionate lyrics and emotion and drama. "MY STORY" was kind of a summary of her life, I feel. It was a reflection and a cleaning up of any unfinished thoughts from the previous 6 albums. Maybe the new album onward are going to just be fun.

But why was Ayu driving on a huge truck down Lexington Avenue and nobody told me???!!! She looks beautiful, but a little bit like a high-end call girl... very New York.

Daybreak isn't a bad PV, it's visually very beautiful. It's just boring as hell. It's all one shot, which is edgy, yes, but there's nothing really going on. Just ayu moving around dramatically and singing. It's very well shot, though, and she looks sooo beautiful. It's serene.
