oh i didn't see the quote part- yes you are right, it was "Celebration Day" by one of the greatest bands ever (as is Pink Floyd, and of course, the Beatles) I'd love to play like pink floyd, but I only play what I write like, and I write like me, not like Pink Floyd. I only say the Beatles, because that is the majority of covers I know, as for my actual music, it's not like anything I really know- it's just rock.
and I agree with using the term loosely with punk "musicians"- I'm sorry, but there is A LOT more than just power chords in the world- the only power chords I use are the ones formed with the top string (since I have it dropped a step- sure it makes it stupidly easy to play- but it's more of a challenge when I play a series of power chords rather than the standard punk play A5 X times) otherwise, the only other uniqueness is my fondness of the capo, which I do use somewhat regularly to change the key of my guitar- some people would probably call it cheap, but I think it's absolutely wonderful, and allows you to play impossible chords
