Jolin Tsai? Haha, cleftjuston, you're from Singapore right? I'm from Singapore too and well, I think you can't really trust the tabloid news. I really doubt Jolin Tsai tore posters of J-pop superstars. People actually pay the newspaper tabloids to churn out nonsense news at times so I guess it's not the truth.
With regards to Singaporean Newspapers (I mean those more juicy tabloid newspapers), I think they basically just take the news from Hong Kong, China and Taiwan newspapers, take a bit of this and that, mix the thing around somemore and then you get your report.
