oh yes! I hated playing outside in the cold! Not so much singing... but my trumpet had to be retuned after I went outside : /
I don't think Choir is as difficult as it is to play an instrument in the cold... sure you throat gets dry... but you need siliva in your mouth to play your horn too... plus your fingers get frozen and it's hard to play the instrument itself...
Thats just my opinion because I've done both singing and playing an instrment outside... I'd take singing in the cold anyday to playing in it
