on A BEST, End roll was rerecorded also, and Boys & Girls was remixed, but they didn't mark it on the package.

And A was when AYU didn't want to continue anymore, and A BEST was when MAX suggested she stop. A is her best-selling single, and A BEST is her best-selling album, even to this day. Sooo... yeah. I guess they decided to keep going

And Yukiko, since DOME TOUR 2001 (when ayu's hearing got REALLY bad) wasn't until after A BEST was released, I don't think her hearing had anything to do with her career ending, unless Max knew her hearing was gonna get bad since it started acting up awhile before. I think he just only intended ayu to have her typical pop-artist run of 3 albums and a best-of. I don't think he thought she'd be as profitable in the long-term as she ended up being.
