Well yeah, the Japan numbers are from Oricon. But I think it's Japan, USA, and UK combined. I doubt The Strokes would have been #2 in Japan.

well the strokes have the us n the uk. i doubt that (miss) understood would have got onto the US billboard charts. (i think thats where they get their sales info from for the US/UK etc.) the "global" chart i think just means, they compare the album sales on a global level. it doesnt mean they have the numbers from overseas countries. ie: (miss) understood sold 654k in japan, that just happened to be the #1 seller in the world at the same time.
