i agree... at first when i heard she was getting in trouble, i thought it was silly. but then i realised that in japan, it's not until you turn 20 (and considered an adult...they even have a special day celebrating all 20 year olds once a year!) that you can do things like smoke, drink, drive, vote, etc. i don't see why people are getting angry with tsunku and the upfront agency... it's not as though they are doing anything outlandish, more like following the laws and making a point to show people everywhere that idols are NOT above the law. also, if it is a direct violation of the agency's contract with said idol (which i heard, in this case, it is), then that's also something that they are allowed to take action against. and no one is forced kago to sign that contract, she did it out of her free will (as we know it anyways), so if she agrees to the terms, she has to follow them. I'm not anti-kago by any means, i love her and will be sad to not see her around for a while... but i mean, rules and rules, and they are created for a reason - to be followed, not to be broken.
