my favorite has to be the guitar
one of the reasons I started learning how to play it
of course there are styles I like to play or like to listen to and others where I think why they have to torture that beautiful instrument that way.
I absolutely love the acoustic guitar as well and want to learn how to play it, since this is quite different from the way you play an electric.
and as for classical instruments. there is none that beats the violine
