Euphemisms are used to turn something shocking into something that sound less shocking or bad. Euphemism can also be full of redundancy as well in order to prepare the listener to get less shocked. If you euphemize the lyrics of an artist they get flat and lose their value. If the intent of the artist was to actually say something shocking the lyrics lose that part. i don't see how euphemizing lyrics makes them better
