Covering up flaws, such as pimples and such. Plus, she knows that people are filming her for the DVD ya know.. so yeah.
I've been told not to wear foundation, but I do still, but not a lot. In this case, with ayu, maybe it's a filming thingy. then again, people can airbrush the person in videos and movies too.
At least Ayu doesn't wear a ton of blush and eyeliner.. damn, she'd look like a clown if she did

ANY type of plastic surgery takes a helluva long time to recover from. It's not like those shows you see on TV, where they just fast forward to recovering process to what they look like now.
