i dun know much about the japanese musical industry as in the commercial sense so i dun know wat kinda decision would avex likely to make that suits them best and make the most profit, but i have to agree with grant that ayu-mi-x IV isn't the best seller of ayu's remix album and it seems that ayu's recent albums ain't sellin as good as those before...however, bear in mind that the economy isn't very strong in japan now, while ayu still being avex's best selling artists, itz reasonable for avex to wanna squeeze out as much as they could from ayu before the end of the life cycle of a japanese idol, however, i really dun know enough to comment on the truthfulness of the news.
however i do hope that the news would be true
