I think that you can tell when she's trying when her voice is all nasally and stuff. I wonder if she's totally just breaking away from singing like that since in the beginning she started out like that cause she was a 'kawaii jpop star<3' and now she's this mature woman.. Ayu still looks the same as she did back then though
