Hard to do comeback when you're still the number one
. It's true though that her sales has gone down a lot, but that's not only because of her popularity decreasing. Today people buy less cd's, not only because of piracy, but because today it's not the same thing to buy a CD as it was a few years ago.
When I was in Tokyo (came back 5 days ago) you could still hear Ayu played everywhere, not only new songs but old aswell. Her songs were played way more than Ai Otsukas latest single. Ai Otsukas single was played a lot on the big TV screens in Shibuya, though, but that's because it's all new.
The last few days before I left Tokyo panasonic started their new D-snap campaign, Ayu's face was everywhere, around every corner, on every subway/JR line... for those who worry, don't, Ayu is still the number one.
There's no-ones face you will see more when you go to Tokyo than Ayus, possibly the face's of all Kat-Tun members together... hehe.
