Cameras aren't allowed at most concerts. When I do press work for J!-ENT and get to shoot a concert, we have to get permission from the record companies to do it. AVEX is notorious for being extremely strict with photos. Lesser known and independent artists are usually more lenient and allow cameras. All of the Korean shows that I've been to allow people to bring cameras.
I've been shooting concerts for awhile and from my experience, most people don't have cameras that are capable of taking good concert photos anyways.
