Yeah lately her 2006 pvs haven't been exactly creative though they still managed to come out as good (except Born to Be..) I think what they lack is that extra twist which left you wondering and contemplating.
However various recent ones have impressed me. Ladies Night, alterna, rainy days, STEP you, my name's WOMEN had a lot of replay value. They were an impressive piece of work.
I agree with ruixiong89's idea. Many people are taking up the idea that her older works are much better than her newer ones. Thus many just classify them old and new, bad and good. Her style has changed. She's gained a lot of confidence and is happy about her life to I feel it reflects in her pvs and lyrics. She's got her niche now and probably she's satisfied where she's arrived to.
I doubt she's flaunting her money or trying to show off. Personally I can point other videos where artists are showing off. It's just a pv where she's happy and the yatch in the pv was probably intended to look as if it was hired by her and her friends.
