I can't tell you which one it is, because even though I don't post there much, I still have a connection with it because I did some work on it - but I can say it is a forum for an American singer/songwriter. The whole positivity thing started because the artist hadn't released anything for a while [2-3 years], and fans were hearing nothing but negative stuff about the artist, it just got to a point where things got really bad, and naturally, it was decided to change the atmosphere. They got it, but it's really forced on people now. The artist still hasn't released anything new since then, and recently there were rumours about him working with other artists. Some fans didn't like these other artists, and mentioned not wanting to buy something they didn't like - they were promptly told to stop trying to control the artist in such a selfish manner - because apparently not buying something means you're telling him you'll only buy his CD if he makes it your way. Unfortunately, some of the people accusing fans of being selfish were on staff - that is the kind of atmosphere that's there now.
I would rather come somewhere like AHS, where people are able to discuss things properly and there's no forced atmosphere. I like being able to come here and being able to say 'I don't really like the BB single, so I'm not going to buy it' without being accused of being a selfish person.
