@alternarist : i've seen singaporean dramas are mostly they call their mom "mother"... hehe...
check wikipedia... it IS kurumi hamasaki... then to ayumi hamasaki... so IF her dad is american, it wouldn't be hamasaki... So the only possible way she is half american/japanese is her mom is american or it wasn't hamasaki...
