歩 actually means ayumi
so in pretty pony~pretty pony~pretty pony~ it's 浜崎歩 but they use the hiragana for 歩 which is あゆみ

Actually her given name wasn't the problem, since it (as kanji) appears the same everywhere, the confusion was with 濱 and 浜.
