That's what I thought too. But then the two scenes don't have to be shot at the same place.
And you can't use fake licence plates for moving vehicles, even if it's for movie/video-making. (And really, even if they were fake, why Alabama, right?? California would be much "cooler", if you know what I mean, haha)
