i don't know if it's an actualy substance such as semen. it probably just represents an emotion as a whole, such as being trapped, feeling drowned by the other person, etc.

i also didn't realize all the symbolisim the first time i watched this pv a few months ago. the equal armed crosses represent male and female unity [i think it's a pagan symbol but i'm unsure] and when the girls shatter them with the guitars that would of course represent that the unity is broken.
that makes me think that the white stuff isn't a thing like semen but more of a feeling of being overpowered and limited.
