to be honest i can relate to that because i also have this worried feeling that ayu is jus not as popular as she used to... at her peak her singles can sell a million but now i would be happy if blue bird can sell 300,000... her apperances on tv had also reduced...

Whatever Ayu releases, there are always some people who are going to hate it, but there are probably just as many people who love it or at least like it. Obviously, if there are people who genuinely love her new work, she isn't going downhill. That being said, if you don't like her recent work, as long as you justify why you don't like it it's a very valid opinion. In contrast, if you love her new work, there is really no need to try to sway those who don't like it into having an appreciation for it.

i totally agree with no doubt... although we are all fans of ayu, it does not mean that we like her blindly or that we like everything from her... i consider myself to be a big fan of ayu but i have to admit there are some of her songs that i dont really like... however i dont think this makes me less of a fan, in fact i think it makes me more of a fan...
