cubase, magix music maker and reason are all good programs. cubase and magix focus more on loops but reason focuses on composition but the first two are reasonably cheaper to buy.

if you can shell out $700 for Ableton Live then get it, coz its what a lot of the big name djs and producers are using. asdgfsadgacrackaserasdr
