When western people say "boom boom, or pom pom" to make a drum-sound, the japanese say "shouga", "shoka" or "showa". "Kuchi Shouga" (also known as Kuchi Shoka and Kuchi Showa) is a system to pronounce the taiko drum-sound in Japanese.
