This CD is what music is all about, it's not genre specific. It touches on so many areas, Jazz, Blues, Swing, Pop, Hip Hop, everything. Her voice sounds absolutely perfect on this CD, and she is what Mariah should be, a performer, not just some hooker who puts on a dress and makes a cd. (Sorry I hate Mariah worth the passion) Christina has really outdone herself this time, and it was worth 3.something years of waiting.
The first disc didn't really do anything for me besides the few radio worthy tracks. But the second disc has all golden gems. Every song, including the intro, has an amazing new sound and beautiful words with flawless vocals. I have to admit, I am actually tossing some cash in her pocket for this one.
And I'm sure, with time, this will be way better than stripped. It's simply better in every way. Screw what's radio worthy, I want QUALITY music.
