My mom ordered the tickets three months ago, but the time has finally come! On Monday, I'll be seeing Shakira at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT. Honestly, I haven't been that super excited for the concert over the last couple of weeks, but since I saw her VMA performance the other day, I've gotten extremely excited (how BEAUTIFUL did she look?!?!?!?). I decided to pull out my Shakira CDs and give them a listen in preparation. I really need to get to know Oral Fixation Vol. 2. That album didn't really strike a chord with me. I LOVE Vol. 1, but Vol. 2 isn't so great, IMO. I'm hoping she performs plenty of her Spanish material. I'm rambling now...yeah, I can't wait.
