MC!!!
If Norrel & Christina were separated at birth, then we were too XD

COZ I LOVE BOSSANOVA MUSIC XD XD XD
Btw, bossanova is a sub-genre to jazz, so if you like bossanova, you will like jazz. I can't differentiate these two, but they sounds similar to me.

I have some bossa nova collections here and I'd be happy to share with you. I think I can upload them this weekend after school.

But if you can't wait and already want to start up your P2P Program, then I'd recommend these:
Shiroi Take she's a japanese artist from GIZA label. She has some touching acoustic ballads & slow pop music, but she slipped (lots of) jazz & bossanova music

take a look at The note of my twenty years, her second Indies cover album. She covered lots of classic jazz/bossa nova tracks from famous artist.
01. The Girl from Ipanema (Original Artist: Antonio Carlos Jobim)
02. Groovin' (OA: The Rascals)
03. Desafinado (OA: Antonio Carlos Jobim)
04. This Masquerade (OA: Leon Russel)
05. Aruanda (OA: Astrud Gilberto)
06. Time After Time (OA: Cyndi Lauper)

Some of her second tune ~Sekai Tomete~ official album also has some jazz/bossanova music, although I don't really recommend this.

Btw some of Shiina Ringo's & Nakashima Mika's songs is also influenced by Jazz. I think you've known Mika's already. Get her LOVE album.
For Shiina Ringo
Rinne Highlight, B-side from Honnou single
and her Baishou Ecstasy Live DVD, in which she performed her songs , orchestrated and rendered in Jazz/Bossanova tunes.
For her Tokyo Jihen works
Tasogare Naki & Keshou Naoshi. The rest of the tracks, which is from their ADULT albums, had Rock influenced Jazz, & some electronica beats.
Her brother, Shiina Junpei also makes bossanova music. Check out his self-titled album, Shiina Junpei.

paris match
Japanese jazz band from the Victor label and under-rated most of the time by mainstream listener. In fact, they are a jazz band that has some bossa / lounge-ish influence. In my opinion, all albums of them will do as great recommendations. My first album from them was PM2, but my favorite is QUATTRO album.
JPM has their albums uploaded in Japanese Urban Music > The Jazz/Downtempo Discussion Thread.

orange pekoe
similar to paris match, but they are more happy jazz, and definetely will suit your bossanova taste.
(Yeah, bossanova is happier jazz, I think. XD CMIIW)

Some YouTube links for paris match that I posted when AyuHoney requested for a new recommendations. I can't find orange pekoe's though. >.<

For paris match, I recommend STARS & 太陽の接吻 (キス) / Taiyou no Seppun (KISS), CAMELLIA, LET'S STAY TOGETHER, from ♭5 (FLAT FIVE) album.
KISS from PM2 album is not a bad choice too, or deep inside from typeIII album. And SILENT NIGHT from their Christmas mini-album, SONG FOR YOU
paris match's music is jazz with lounge/chill-out influence,
while orange pekoe's music is mostly happy, trumpet-instruments jazz.

For orange pekoe, I recommend getting their honeysuckle single or just Modern Lights album.

Those are eastern musicians.
For western, I do recommend Diana Krall. That's it.
She plays piano and deliver songs with her unique & soothing vocal. The Look of Love album is my recommendation.
For tracks, I Miss You So & Gentle Rain from Love Scenes album.
Let's Fall In Love from When I Look In Your Eyes

Also check out Kenny James Trio's rendition of Utada Hikaru's songs.

And by the way, Antonio Carlos Jobim for more jazz stuffs.
