DVD audio will only benefit those who has a 5.1 home theater system as the disc is recorded in 5.1 channel, ie using five speakers and a subwofeer to give you the digital surround sound. DVd audio also carries a longer wavelength as compared to CD, therefore better sound quality. In other words, if you dun have a 5.1 system, buying a CD would be sufficent for listening purpose.
