The MY STORY ballads were quite bland IMHO. However the blandess in CAROLS was just right!
Unless you are also including Liar/HOPE or PAIN/happy ending (which I don't quite class as ballads in my head for some reason). Those are my favourite album tracks. I can't really compare them because they are really different.
