I hope it's the latter. I obviously love Ayu, and I really do like Koda - even if I hated her music (which - I do love her music) I'd still like her as a person based on the things I've read and heard about her (how very nice she is, how grateful she is for her success, and so on) - I want to hope they'll be good friends.
I have to go and watch it soon so I can see too. I remember watching Ayu and Hikki on that one show (MusicStation too, right?) chatting (I think about living in New York and all?) and getting along really well and being very friendly with each other. It makes me curious how all the big J-pop stars get along with each other and what each one thinks of the others.
