I honestly don't think they are rivals. But I don't think Ayu even cares about sales. She's probably friendly to a lot of the avex artists..

I think it's just odd for people to see that Ayu and Koda are 'socializing' o_o
It's sort of like the two popular people in school who seem like they might be not friends at all, and they ARE.? D:
