I'll say it's a special contraption. The black pole at the back is actually 2 thinner poles. So you can chain up a person and he'll look trapped. But when a lever is pulled, the 2 poles at the back separate, and the person can leave from the back, while another person goes in. The lever is pulled back and the other person is trapped. Voila!!
