The cover's cool.
I... was not a fan of the ALBUM Goodies, but I did like the song. The album itself was... meh, with a few good tracks. Ciara doesn't have a good voice, really, so she needs great production to carry her - and for the love of god, don't do ballads you CAN'T tackle.
I wasn't wild about Promise, although it might be because of the video - which was the first time I heard it. And I was distracted by how AWFUL she looked in it. I'm sorry, I just find her unattractive. But! Since I listen to the music, I'll use that as my judging grounds when I give the mp3 a listen.
I want to like the finished product, but... I dunno. We'll see.
Can't be worse than Monica's new album. It already has a better cover and a less-offensive lead single (haven't heard Get Up, either).
Prince, though? Ewww. Hate Prince.
