no she's not overrated...its true, ayu is getting just the attention she deserves. In fact, i think some people, especially in the places where her popularity is decreasing, are forgetting the effort that ayu puts into her music, and in all those PVs that have double meanings, and the fact that she is extremely successful after "failing" at school and modeling(professionally) and not living a "traditional" life(especially in japan), is an incredible feat, most people would fail miserably. I think Ayu deserves all the attention she gets...she's truly talented, although some of her songs are way overrated, think of all the ones you can listen to whenever without ever getting tired of them, and all of her styles...i'd like to see people like Beyonce and Britney Spears (JUST examples) all of a sudden switch to rock music, or country...and get away with it.
