Mary J. Blige is washed-up? Huh. I must've missed that part. Be Without You was a pretty big hit, and while her following singles only really made a huge splash on the R&B charts, she's still a very important figure in music, and The Breakthrough sold incredibly well and had awesome opening numbers. I... don't get how she's washed-up.

Anyway! Here's to Mary, Carrie, and the Dixie Chicks each nabbing some well-deserved awards. The Contemporary R&B Album line-up is freaking SAD, though. Beyoncé, Chris Brown, Ne-Yo, Kelis (people remembered she put out an album?), and Janet Jackson (who didn't put out anything great. Beyoncé wasn't bad, but... meh. She'll win anyway).

Best Female Pop Vocal Performance has me sad and mixed-up because aside from Christina (who will win), I want all of them (Pink, Sheryl, Natasha, and KT) to win. All songs (that I heard - so all the songs except Sheryl's) were great, and I love all four of them.
