Girls Aloud and the Sugababes team up
LIFE STYLE EXTRA (UK) - Girls Aloud and the Sugababes are teaming up to record a song for next year's Comic Relief.
The eight-piece group are currently in the studio recording the unknown track to be released as the appeal's official tune.
A source revealed: "Its amazing getting these two bands to record together, they will be the ultimate girl group. It is going to be hot."
The girls, part of two of the most successful pop bands in the UK, are halfway through recording the vocals - rumoured to a cover of a well-known hip hop classic - with a video to follow.
Meanwhile Sarah Harding has compared herself to Amy Winehouse.
The Girls Aloud singer has a reputation for heavy drinking and wild partying but says she doesn't want to go into rehab.
Sarah, 25, said: "I haven't got an alcohol problem, so I don't need to go to the Priory - just yet!
"If my management said I had to go to rehab I would probably do what Amy Winehouse did - go down to see what it's all about and then say, 'No!'
"I haven't got an issue. If I was an alcoholic I'd be wanting a drink in the morning, wouldn't I? And I'm drinking mineral water today!"
