Are you sure it's in Shinjuku? Because Tokyo metro station is located near Ginza in Chuo-ku. Or Did you mean (huge) Shinjuku Station?

You can exchange euro and dollars (and some other major currencies) at the airport, right after you passed customs. Same goes for when you go back home, left over (paper) money can be exchanged back. (and I must the say, the assistant there, was extremely friendly & helpful

) I actually had enough cash money with me last time, so I didn't need to use my credit card. But I think you can go and withdraw money at a bank or post office.
