Usually backstage there
are tons of people helping out with outfits and hairstyles/wigs. Everybody (including Ayu) must work fast. She can't worry about covering up herself (hopefully she's got straight females to change her clothes). No, I TOTALLY take that back! It sounds sexist!
Fortunately, Ayu is creative and uses SO many outfits and hairstyles. It's exciting to see what she'll be wearing from one song to the next.
Unlike some American artists whom I dislike but shall not mention who try to look like they have awesome outfits, stage designs, and hairstyles.
Ayu's performances always seem to tell a little story. I look at the artist I don't like and think, "Oh, but you haven't seen Ayu's!" xD
