They were.

The wiki entry stated that they re-released those 12cm CDs again in 2016 under the original re-release dates but I don't think anything actually came out on 02/28/16, or if it did, there isn't really any indication it happened other than the wiki info.

The entries are basically like...

Release date:
February 28, 2001
February 28, 2016

But I don't think anything actually came out that day so someone just slipped the date in without a source or anything.
