I honestly think hiring a creative director would solve so many of the “issues” with her releases. If she had the inspiration then that’s one thing, but it feels like she’s lost. Concepts are kinda there, but tend to be very vague, half ideas.

I think Timmy, despite my issues with his stage persona, was the breath of fresh air for Ayu for many years. And now she’s kind of struggling to create.

I also think Ayu is similar to how Britney was, in that she lives in a bubble. The difference is that Ayu kinda put herself there…

All theory of course—we’ll never really know haha. It’s just the vibe I get with how she presents herself lately.
