Ayu's pre-avex performances (^_^)
I was searching around on YouTube and found a few vids of Ayu's old performances from the 90's before avex I was wondering what you guys thought about her old perfs

In case you haven't seen any of them, here's a few (^_^)

Moon (nothing to do with the new MOON )


Raspberry Dream

I think that Moon is the most catchy, but her Engrish is soooo cute in Get Out of My Life

Everybody starts small...even Hamasaki Ayumi! ^.~

I really love to watch these performances. Here you can see how unsure Ayu was back then, but she still did soooooo great. I admire her courage, really!
And I LOVE "Get Out Of My Life"

She starts out like any other groomed Jpop idol, young cute and fresh.

The songs she sings seem not to be her own selection, delivered without passion and corny choreograhphy.

At this point of her career, Ayumi at best is a fresh faced newcomer in the business.

Agreed!! It really shows she didn't just 'get lucky' also, it shows she started small and had to work hard to get as far as she did.

My favourite is also Get Out of My Life

She looks even pretty when she was young! really pretty for ordinary Japanese!!!

Funny to hear she sang so Engrish in Get Out of My Life. Her English now is better XD

She is really cute. But I think she's far away of the Ayu we know. When I watched that video I can't say it's Ayu's style.
