Hitoto Yo is taiwanese-japanese singer, she's best known for her ballads but her music is a mix of traditional ethnic, jazz & pop elements. And for her voice, she has a beautiful wavering vibrato. her music shares similarties with mika nakashima's music.

her popularity in japan is on the rise, her 3 original albums all sold in the 200k-500k range but her recent collection album called BESTYO shipped million copies (closing in on 800k sold on oricon)

fun fact about Hitoto: if you digitally edit her music by lowering the tempo by ~20% she'll sound like Ken Hirai!
